University of Westminster’s faculty of media, arts and design is in Harrow, as is the world famous Harrow School.
Redefine International and Orchard Street Investments operate shopping centres which house, between them, TK Maxx, Boots, H&M, Nando’s, Frankie and Benny’s, Pizza Express, McDonalds and Fitness First, M&S, Primark, WH Smith, Top Shop and a 12-screen Vue Cinema.
Of the major convenience retailers, Tesco have stores between Harrow and Wealdstone, in Pinner and a small supermarket in Belmont; Sainsbury’s are in Kenton, Stanmore, South Harrow, Pinner, Edgeware and Wealdstone; Waitrose are in South Harrow and Harrow Weald; there are M&S outlets in Harrow, Pinner and Edgware; ASDA has just opened a store in Wealdstone; Morrisons has stores in Harrow Town Centre and Hatch End.
